We only collect what we need to enable personalized use of chartinsight.com. We promise to never sell or share your data.

When you sign up for ChartInsight, we ask for your email address and send you a verification link so we know that you a human instead of a robot. We've put thousands of hours of work into ChartInsight and don't want a robot copying it. We will never sell your email address.

ChartInsight LLC will retain your Personal Data only for as long as is necessary for the purposes set out in this Privacy Policy. ChartInsight LLC will also retain Usage Data for internal analysis purposes. ChartInsight LLC will take all steps reasonably necessary to ensure that your data is treated securely and in accordance with this Privacy Policy and no transfer of your Personal Data will take place to an organization or a country unless there are adequate controls in place including the security of your data and other personal information.

If the appropriate law enforcement authorities have the necessary warrant, criminal subpoena, or court order requiring we share data, we have to comply. Otherwise, we flat-out reject requests from local and federal law enforcement when they seek data. And unless we're legally prevented from it, we'll always inform you when such requests are made. We have never received a National Security Letter or Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act (FISA) order requesting information.

At ChartInsight, we apply the same data rights to all customers, regardless of their location. Security of Data

All data is encrypted via SSL/TLS when transmitted from our servers to your browser. While we strive to use commercially acceptable means to protect your Personal Data, we cannot guarantee its absolute security.

We may employ third party companies and individuals to facilitate our Service ("Service Providers"), to provide the Service on our behalf, to perform Service-related services or to assist us in analyzing how our Service is used.

Analytics

We use Google Analytics, a third-party Service Provider, to monitor and analyze the use of our Service. Google uses the data collected to track and monitor the use of our Service. This data is shared with other Google services. Google may use the collected data to contextualize and personalize the ads of its own advertising network.

You can opt-out of having made your activity on the Service available to Google Analytics by installing the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on. The add-on prevents the Google Analytics JavaScript (ga.js, analytics.js, and dc.js) from sharing information with Google Analytics about visits activity.

Payments and Billing information

ChartInsight will always have a free version. You can choose to enhance the free version with a premium subscription. If you choose to pay for a premium subscription, we will use PayPal/Braintree to handle payment processing. We will not store or collect your payment card details. That information is provided directly to PayPal/Braintree whose use of your personal information is governed by their Privacy Policy (see https://www.paypal.com/webapps/mpp/ua/privacy-full). PayPal/Braintree adheres to the standards set by PCI-DSS as managed by the PCI Security Standards Council, which is a joint effort of brands like Visa, Mastercard, American Express and Discover. PCI-DSS requirements help ensure the secure handling of payment information.

Geolocation data

We log all access to all accounts by full IP address so we can always verify no unauthorized access has happened. We keep this login data for as long as necessary to improve the service.

Our Service may contain links to other sites that are not operated by us. If you click on a third party link, you will be directed to that third party's site. We strongly advise you to review the Privacy Policy of every site you visit. We have no control over and assume no responsibility for the content, privacy policies or practices of any third party sites or services.

Children's Privacy

Our Service does not address anyone under the age of 18 ("Children").

We do not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from anyone under the age of 18. If you are a parent or guardian and you are aware that your Children have ([or] Child has) provided us with Personal Data, please contact us. If we become aware that we have collected Personal Data from children without verification of parental consent, we take steps to remove that information from our servers.

Location of Our Servers; Governing Law and Venue for any Disputes

If you are using the Services from outside the United States, please be aware that the Services and the servers that host it are located in the United States and any information or data you provide, including Personally Identifiable Information, will be transferred to the United States. By using the Services or providing your Personally Identifiable Information, you agree and consent to (a) the application of the laws of Washington State, United States, with respect to any dispute arising out of or related to this Privacy Policy, and (b) the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Washington State, United States to resolve any such dispute and you hereby waive any objection thereto based on inconvenient forum.
