COMPANY PROFILE
Organization and Basis of Presentation The Consolidated Financial Statements include the accounts of Oil States International, Inc. ("Oil States" or the "Company") and its consolidated subsidiaries. Investments in unconsolidated affiliates, in which the Company is able to exercise significant influence, are accounted for using the equity method. All significant intercompany accounts and transactions between the Company and its consolidated subsidiaries have been eliminated in the accompanying Consolidated Financial Statements.

The Company operates through three business segments – Offshore/Manufactured Products, Downhole Technologies and Well Site Services – and, through its subsidiaries, is a leading provider of specialty products and services to oil and gas and industrial companies around the world. The Company operates in a substantial number of the world's active resource intensive regions, including: onshore and offshore United States, West Africa, the North Sea, the Middle East, South America and Southeast and Central Asia.
